The Furutech DAS-4.1 XLR Interconnect Cable Pair DIY Kit is designed with the High End Audio enthusiasts in mind who likes to DIY their own cables. These cables incorporate Furutech DAS-4.1 OCC/DUCC Balanced Audio Cable, and Furutech CF-601 M NCF and CF-602 F NCF Rhodium Plated high performance XLR connectors.  Both the cable and the connectors are treated with the α(Alpha) process. Furutech’s α(Alpha) process consists of  Two-Stage Cryogenic and Demagnetization treatment.  ALL metallic parts used in Furutech products go through the Alpha Process treatment to keep all connectors, conductors, and metal parts in a perfect stress-free, stable and highly conductive state.

Furutech’s α (Alpha) OCC‐DUCC is one of a select few of conductors that Furutech engineers have found to excel in sound reproduction. α (Alpha) OCC –DUCC is constructed using a combination of DUCC Ultra Crystallized High Purity Copper and Furutech’s world famous Pure Transmission α (Alpha)-OCC.

• Rhodium-plated α (Alpha) Pure copper one-piece construction conductor pin injected with heat resistant NCF Liquid Crystal Polymer Resin.
• Nylon, fiberglass, nano-sized crystalline piezo ceramic particles, carbon powder and Furutech special “NCF” anti-resonance damping material main body combine heat resistant NCF Liquid Crystal Polymer Resin. NCF delivers improvements in the depth and focus of the sound stage, harmonics and tonal balance. Low frequencies are cleaner, with a greater sense of definition made possible by a lowered noise floor.
• Housing: Multilayer hybrid NCF carbon housing composed of an outer hard clear coat over with another layer of Hybrid NCF Silver plated 3k carbon fiber on a nonmagnetic stainless-steel Housing. The best of damping and insulation materials improve frequency extension and tonal balance.
