Douglas Connection RCA Digital Interconnect

Our Digital Interconnect Cable is constructed of the best cable and connectors on the market today.  We use the Neotech ND-021090 UPOCC Digital cable, and for connectors we use the Vampire Wire 9X/CB Gold plated copper connectors.  This combination yeilds a true 75 ohm friendly digital interconnect that is unsurpassed by any other cable.   These cables are great for any digital connection using RCA connectors.  This cable also makes a wonderful subwoofer cable.

Neotech ND021090 is a UPOCC digital cable designed to meet the 75 ohm spec of the SPDIF format. This is a great cable for digital links, subwoofer or component cables. The inner conductor is made of high purity UPOCC copper, with a cross-section of 0,75 mm2.  The center conductor is covered by a thin PE and a thick foamed polyethylene jacket. This cable uses a conductive PVC foil and an OFC braided shield, and is covered in a Blue PVC jacket.  Neotech has long been a leader in producing wire and cable using “single crystal” UP-OCC Copper, developed by Professor Ohno of the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan. UP-OCC copper is at least 99.99998% pure, and has an average crystal size of 125 meters.

The Vampire 9X/CB connectors are a Copper Body Gold Plated Male RCA connector. The X/CB connectors are designed to be the finest male RCA’s available. Made from a copper base, for up to 9.3mm diameter cables. Uses compression to insure proper RF shielding and strain relief. You will not find a better RCA Connector anywhere!
